FAIR HOUSING COMPLAINT PROCEDURE

 In the process of promoting fair housing, the Town of Faison shall assist anyone wishing to file a housing discrimination complaint.  Persons wishing to register or file a claim may do so by contacting the Town Clerk at the Town Hall between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday by calling 910-267-2721 or by calling N. C. State TDD:1-800-735-2962.

The Clerk will be available to the complainant for any assistance needed in order to answer questions related to the grievance or to assist with resolving the concern.  If resolution cannot be reached on the local level, the Town Clerk will be available to assist in completing the filing of the complaint with the N. C. Human Relations Commission at 121 W. Jones Street, Raleigh, N. C.  27603-1368.  The Town shall respond to all complaints or request for assistance within ten (10) days.
